Error codes and troubleshooting
| Code | Meaning | What to do | Manual page |
|---|---|---|---|
| B017 | PV1 input current is too high. The manual states PV1 must stay within 12.5A. | Log in to the App, bind the EP800, and connect via Bluetooth to check for firmware updates. Confirm PV1 input current is below 12.5A using the App's real-time monitor. Restart the EP800. If the issue persists, contact BLUETTI support. Call service if it persists. | 68 |
| B018 | PV2 input current is too high. The manual states PV2 must stay within 25A. | Log in to the App, bind the EP800, and connect via Bluetooth to check for firmware updates. Confirm PV2 input current is below 25A using the App's real-time monitor. Restart the EP800. If the issue persists, contact BLUETTI support. Call service if it persists. | 68 |
| B019 | PV1 input voltage is too high. The total open-circuit voltage must stay within 500V. | Immediately turn off the PV input switch. Check that the total open-circuit voltage is within 500V. If not, reduce the number of PV modules connected in series. The inverter resumes automatically after correction. Restart the EP800. If the issue persists, contact BLUETTI support. Call service if it persists. | 68 |
| B020 | PV2 input voltage is too high. | 68 |
| B031 | The grid phase connection is wrong. Mains L1 and L2 may be incorrectly connected to the EP800 GRID terminals. | On first installation, connect mains L1 and L2 correctly to the EP800 GRID terminals. Switch both mains phases on or off simultaneously. Restart the EP800. If the issue persists, contact BLUETTI support. Call service if it persists. | 68 |

FAQ
How long will the Bluetti EP800 run a refrigerator?
About 187 hours for a typical 120 W refrigerator that runs 35 % of the time, after inverter and depth-of-discharge losses.
Can the Bluetti EP800 start a sump pump or well pump?
Starting surge matters more than running watts: this unit is rated 7600 W output (no separate peak published). That covers a typical 1/2 HP sump pump (about 2150 W to start). Use the calculator with your exact pump.
