FAQ
How long does the Champion 2000-Watt Inverter (100705) run on a tank?
The maker rates it at 11 hours at 50 % load (about 800 W) on a 1.1-gal tank. A light load such as a refrigerator and lights runs longer; a full load runs shorter.
Can the Champion 2000-Watt Inverter (100705) start a sump pump or well pump?
Starting surge matters more than running watts: this unit is rated 2000 W peak. That is below a typical 1/2 HP sump pump start (about 2150 W); check your pump label. Use the calculator with your exact pump.
