The Champion aXis 22 kW is a whole-house home standby generator system that includes a 100A aXis automatic transfer switch. It is rated for 22,000 W continuous on propane and 19,800 W on natural gas, at 120/240 V and 60 Hz. It starts automatically when power goes out and returns to standby when power is restored.

Starting surge matters more than running watts: this unit is rated 22000 W output (no separate peak published). That covers a typical 1/2 HP sump pump (about 2150 W to start). Use the calculator with your exact pump.
