Error codes and troubleshooting
| Code | Meaning | What to do | Manual page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temperature Alarm Icon | Appears on the display when the power station is too hot or too cold. | If too hot, remove the load, let the unit cool, and use it in a cooler place. If too cold, move the station to a room-temperature location for at least 1 hour, if possible, and let it warm before trying again. | 8 |
| Overheating | If the power station's battery gets too warm, the temperature alarm icon appears on the panel. | Remove the load, let the unit cool, and use it in a cooler environment if possible. Press the appropriate power button to reset the circuit. Let the fans run a few minutes to cool the inverter, then reduce the load and try again. | 11 |
| Overload | If too much power is drawn, the station cuts off power to protect itself and the battery. Motor-driven devices can need up to 3 times their running power at startup and may be difficult or impossible to use. | Disconnect the load and press the appropriate power button on the panel to reset the circuit. | 11 |

FAQ
How long will the WEN PP448i run a refrigerator?
About 8 hours for a typical 120 W refrigerator that runs 35 % of the time, after inverter and depth-of-discharge losses.
Can the WEN PP448i start a sump pump or well pump?
Starting surge matters more than running watts: this unit is rated 1000 W peak. That is below a typical 1/2 HP sump pump start (about 2150 W); check your pump label. Use the calculator with your exact pump.
