Error codes and troubleshooting
| Code | Meaning | What to do | Manual page |
|---|---|---|---|
| E004 | The output voltage is outside the expected range, or the grid connection is not proper. | Ensure the output voltage is within ±10% of the rated voltage or proper grid connection. | 21 |
| E016 | The internal fan is blocked, unplugged, or not functioning properly. | Check if the fan is blocked, unplugged, or not functioning properly. Ensure proper ventilation. | 21 |
| E117 | Grid oscillation has been detected at the grid input. | Disconnect the grid input and contact BLUETTI support for further assistance. Call service if it persists. | 21 |
| E074 | The battery management system (BMS) has detected a fault. The specific fault is shown in the mobile app. | Check the specific fault in the mobile app. If the battery is too hot or too cold, let the unit reach a suitable temperature before charging or using it (charging -15°C to 40°C; discharging -25°C to 40°C). | 22 |
| E001 | The inverter is overloaded because the connected devices draw too much power. | Check whether the power consumption of your devices is too high. Reduce the load if necessary. | 23 |
| E002 | The inverter overheated and protection switched the AC output off. | Wait for about 10 minutes until the unit cools down, then turn on the AC output again. | 23 |

FAQ
How long will the Bluetti AC70P run a refrigerator?
About 16 hours for a typical 120 W refrigerator that runs 35 % of the time, after inverter and depth-of-discharge losses.
Can the Bluetti AC70P start a sump pump or well pump?
Starting surge matters more than running watts: this unit is rated 1000 W output (no separate peak published). That is below a typical 1/2 HP sump pump start (about 2150 W); check your pump label. Use the calculator with your exact pump.
